Frequently Asked Questions

Ordering & Availability

Why should I order an Edgeline White Sample Door before buying a full kitchen set?

Photos on screens can vary significantly due to display settings, lighting, and photography angles. Ordering an Edgeline White Sample Door allows you to see the actual finish, color, and door profile in your home’s natural lighting alongside countertops, flooring, backsplash, and paint samples. This is especially helpful for white finishes, which may appear warmer or cooler depending on surrounding colors.

What size is the Edgeline White Sample Door?

The Edgeline White Sample Door measures 11 inches wide by 15 inches high by 3/4 inch deep. This US Cabinet Depot sample allows you to examine its narrow Shaker frame, recessed center panel, and smooth white finish before purchasing full-size cabinets.

Are samples fully finished door samples or just small color swatches?

Our sample doors are actual finished door faces designed to represent the materials, construction, and finishing processes used for full-sized cabinet doors. They allow you to examine the door proportions, profile, and finish rather than relying on a small flat color swatch.

Materials & Quality Inspection

What should I look for when examining my door sample?

When inspecting your Edgeline White Sample Door, pay attention to the following details:

• Construction: Examine the painted HDF door, narrow frame, recessed center panel, and overall door assembly.
• Finish Quality: Observe the smooth white paint, surface consistency, and finish along the edges.
• Profile Detail: Inspect the skinny Shaker frame and recessed panel to ensure the design matches your kitchen style.

Why does my painted sample door list HDF/MDF instead of 100% solid wood?

High-Density Fiberboard (HDF) and Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF) are engineered wood materials commonly used for painted cabinet doors because they provide a stable, smooth surface. Natural wood can expand and contract with changes in humidity, potentially creating visible paint seams. Edgeline White specifically features a painted HDF door, helping provide a consistent surface for its smooth white finish.

Why does my stained sample door look slightly different from the photos online?

Stained wood doors can display natural variations in grain patterns, color, and texture. Edgeline White, however, features a painted white finish rather than a stained wood appearance. Differences between the physical sample and online photographs are more likely to result from lighting conditions, photography, and screen color settings. Viewing the actual sample under different lighting conditions helps you evaluate its true appearance.

Shipping

How long does sample shipping take?

Sample doors typically ship within 2 to 5 business days. Standard ground shipping usually delivers within 3 to 7 business days depending on your location.

Is shipping for sample doors free?

Yes, shipping is free for sample doors.
