Forevermark Petit Sand Sample Door

Description

Petit Sand Sample Door by Forevermark Cabinetry features a light brown wood-grain finish and a modern Slim Shaker design with a narrow frame and recessed center panel. Its door frame is made from solid Eucalyptus Grandis, while the MDF center panel is veneered on both sides with Eucalyptus Grandis. The soft, natural-looking wood tone complements contemporary, transitional, and Scandinavian-inspired kitchen designs. Because finishes can look different on a screen than in your home’s lighting, ordering this $25 sample door is the easiest way to confirm the look matches your design before purchasing a full kitchen. A physical sample allows you to examine the actual color, grain, texture, and door profile before making your final selection.

The Petit Sand Sample Door helps you compare its light brown finish with countertops, flooring, backsplash materials, wall colors, and cabinet hardware. Natural wood-grain patterns and lighting conditions can influence the appearance of the finish. Viewing the sample in your own kitchen provides a better understanding of its slim frame, recessed panel, and warm wood tones than online photographs alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ordering & Availability

Why should I order a Petit Sand Sample Door before buying a full kitchen set?

Photos on screens can vary significantly due to display settings, lighting, and photography angles. Ordering a Petit Sand Sample Door allows you to see the actual finish, wood grain, and color in your home’s natural lighting alongside your countertops, flooring, backsplash, and paint samples. This is especially helpful for light wood-grain finishes, where natural patterns and lighting can influence the appearance.

What size is the Petit Sand Sample Door?

The Petit Sand Sample Door measures 14 1/2 inches wide by 14 1/2 inches high. This Forevermark Cabinetry sample allows you to examine the narrow Slim Shaker frame, recessed center panel, light brown finish, and wood-grain appearance before purchasing full-size cabinets.

Are samples fully finished door samples or just small color swatches?

Our sample doors are actual finished door faces designed to represent the materials, construction, and finishing processes used for full-sized cabinet doors. They allow you to examine the door proportions, frame, center panel, and finish rather than relying on a small flat color swatch.

Materials & Quality Inspection

What should I look for when examining my door sample?

When inspecting your Petit Sand Sample Door, pay attention to the following details:

• Construction: Examine the solid Eucalyptus Grandis door frame, veneered MDF center panel, and overall door assembly.
• Finish Quality: Observe the light brown finish, wood-grain patterns, surface texture, and variations in color.
• Profile Detail: Inspect the narrow Slim Shaker frame, recessed center panel, and outer door edges to ensure the design matches your kitchen style.

Why does my painted sample door list HDF/MDF instead of 100% solid wood?

High-Density Fiberboard (HDF) and Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF) are commonly used for cabinet door center panels because engineered wood provides dimensional stability. Petit Sand specifically features a solid Eucalyptus Grandis frame with an MDF center panel veneered on both sides with Eucalyptus Grandis. This construction combines the natural appearance of wood with the stability of an engineered center panel.

Why does my stained sample door look slightly different from the photos online?

Natural wood can display differences in grain patterns, color, and texture. Petit Sand features Eucalyptus Grandis wood and veneer, so individual doors may show variations in wood-grain character and tone. Photography, lighting, and screen settings can also affect how the light brown finish appears online. Your physical sample helps you evaluate these details before purchasing matching cabinetry.

How long does sample shipping take?

Sample doors typically ship within 2 to 5 business days. Standard ground shipping usually delivers within 3 to 7 business days depending on your location.

Yes, shipping is free for sample doors.
